Food and BeverageJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and customer-focused
ServiceManager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and bar. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the front-of-house team, ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, and achieving business goals related to profitability, staff performance, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional guest service.Develop staff rotas and manage labour costs in line with business levels and budgets.Monitor inventory levels, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and ensure availability.Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the bar and restaurant.Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth coordination and timely service.Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety, and food safety regulations.Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, always aiming to exceed expectations.Monitor sales, costs, and profitability, preparing regular reports for senior management.Assist in developing and implementing promotions, menus, and marketing initiatives to drive sales.Foster a positive team environment and promote excellent internal communication.Requirements:Proven experience in a similar role within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Excellent organisational and time management abilities.In-depth knowledge of food, beverage, and hospitality industry standards.Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labour, and stock.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.Personal license holder (desirable).Food Safety and Health and Safety certifications (preferred).Benefits:Service chargeStaff meals and uniform providedOpportunities for training and career progression
