Head of Landlord Compliance and Building Safety to be responsible for Landlord Compliance Commissioning TeamsJob:Head of Landlord Compliance and Building SafetyDuration:6-monthsRate:£700/day via Umbrella Company, Inside IR35Site presence:Hybrid – 3 days onsiteResponsibilitiesLead the organisation’s approach to landlord compliance, building safety and health and safety, ensuring statutory duties are met and acting as the Responsible Person/Duty Holder under relevant legislation.Oversee the development and implementation of safety assurance frameworks, including Building Safety Certification, the “Golden Thread” of safety assurance, and full regulatory compliance.Provide strategic leadership for compliance and building safety teams, embedding a data-led, customer-focused approach that delivers efficiency, value for money, and service improvements.Manage and monitor compliance programmes, budgets, and service plans, ensuring delivery to agreed quality standards, timescales, and regulatory requirements.Build effective partnerships with regulators, residents, senior colleagues, and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, enhance resident engagement, and strengthen organisational reputation.RequirementRelevant professional qualification in property, health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH), or equivalent experience in compliance and building safetyStrong knowledge of landlord compliance, Building Safety Act, CDM regulations, and statutory standards relating to fire safety, asbestos, water safety, gas, electrical, and lift safetyProven leadership and people management skills, with experience of inspiring, coaching, and developing high-performing teamsExcellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interpret complex compliance data and engage effectively with diverse stakeholdersDemonstrable experience in managing compliance programmes, large budgets, and change initiatives within a regulated environmentAt Venn Group, we endeavour to respond to all applications However due to the volume of applications we receive, if you have not heard from us within 48 hours please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion
