Ferring+You

You will contribute to the definition, development and management of a planning and management control system able to ensure the company achieves its business results, through the coordination of the budgeting process, the collection, assessment and analysis of results, and support the interpretation and making of decisions. The role reports to the country Finance Director (FD).

Your day at Ferring

Period-End Closing and Controls: Ensure accuracy in postings and accruals during month-end close, conduct analytical reviews, and perform internal controls.Costing and Transfer Pricing: Perform variance analysis, support analysis of transfer pricing in collaboration with the Finance Director (FD) and Lisbon CoE.Inventory and Supply Chain Finance: Coordinate forecasting accuracy with supply chain and provide financial advice on supply delays, including risk and backup planning.Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning: Support financial planning cycles (budget, forecast, business plans) and ensure forecast accuracy for PandL, cash flow, and working capital.Projects and Continuous Improvement: Contribute to corporate finance program rollouts, promote standardization of systems, and identify optimization opportunities.Management Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial forecasts, analyse product PandLs monthly, and provide insights and corrective actions for deviations and risks.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, fiscal regulations, and proactively manage financial risks.Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Partner with CoE, SDMs, GPO, and BPO for smooth delivery and continuous improvement of finance processes.Strategic Finance and Business Partnering: Actively advise, challenge, and support the business with data-driven insights, variance assessments, and performance improvement actions.Performance Monitoring and Efficiency: Monitor key financial ratios, identify improvement areas, and propose efficiency measures to enhance financial and operational performance.Behind our innovation...There is you

University master''s degree in finance or economics.ACCA / CIMA / ACA.7 years'' experience in finance and at least 2 years'' working experience as finance analyst in a multinational environment.Having previous experience working in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.Accomplishes goal and meets deadlines in a self-directed manner and with strong attention to detail, contributing to team objectives.Organises and manages multiple priorities and projects, including concurrent demands and resource limitations.Analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.Effective communicator, both written and verbal with strong presentation skills.Possesses strong IT skills (MS Office, Teams, business software applications such as SAP).People come first at Ferring.
