An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join a leading international group. This is a senior finance role with responsibility for financial reporting, internal controls, and commercial decision support for the UK business.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, lead a small finance team, and partner with business units to deliver accurate management information, support strategic planning, and ensure robust processes are in place. This position offers a blend of operational responsibility, commercial involvement, and leadership within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The Role
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management reports with analysis and commentaryOversee ledger reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysisManage effective accounts receivable and payable processes across multiple brands and geographiesLead quarterly reforecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year planning in collaboration with commercial teamsMaintain and enhance internal controls, ensuring compliance with group policies and audit requirementsOversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and process improvements with a focus on automationSupport statutory and tax compliance, including corporation tax and VATPartner with management teams to evaluate investment opportunities and business change projectsLead, motivate, and develop the UK finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellenceAbout You
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 5 years'' post-qualification experienceProven track record as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader within a multinational environmentExperience in manufacturing or similar industry advantageousSkilled in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvementStrong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teamsExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing abilitiesProficient in ERP systems (experience with Oracle Netsuite desirable) and advanced Excel skillsCommercially minded with strong problem-solving capabilitiesThe Offer
