Overview

Assistant Procurement Manager role at Sizewell C. Location: London, with occasional travel to Ipswich. Successful candidate must be prepared to travel to the London office 2-3 days per week, and occasionally to Suffolk and Bristol. Hybrid working supported where possible.Responsibilities

Lead and support procurement processes from strategy to contract award.Manage commercial aspects of contracts during execution.Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders to support pipeline development.Ensure compliance with SZC’s procurement policies and governance.Collaborate with legal teams on contract terms and NDAs.Develop RFP/RFQ packages and manage supplier engagement.Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting dashboards.Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement across procurement activities.What We’re Looking For

Experience in a procurement role.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience in corporate functions procurement and contract negotiation.Solid understanding of commercial law and contractual terms.Proven ability to manage high-value, multi-disciplinary contracts.Member or student member of CIPS (preferred).Experience working in cross-functional teams and advising senior management.Salary and Benefits
