We are looking for a hands-on, commercially astute Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team in sourcing the best quality products at the best possible value.Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Operations, take ownership of the procurement function, ensuring top-quality raw materials are sourced and stock levels are accurately managed.Deliver on cost targets in line with budget guidelines.Sourcing from our approved supplier list.Maintaining accurate stock records.Leading and developing a small procurement team.Skills and Experience

Proven fresh produce buying experienceStrong numeracy and communication skills (written and verbal)High-level negotiation and decision-making abilitiesExcellent organisation and IT skills (MS Office, especially Excel)A proactive, can-do attitude and a professional work ethicExperience in leading and managing a teamA methodical and logical approach to workWorking hours

Monday to Friday 08:00 until 17:30Participation in a weekend on-call rota (1 in 3 weekends)A Little Bit About Us

Our produce is picked, packed, and distributed from our own production site. We are specialist growers, who over the years have developed both growing techniques and varieties to provide our customers with the best quality and flavour.
