Theyre now looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join their dedicated prep kitchen team, with a rare opportunity for daytime-only hours and set days off.This is a standout role for a seasoned chef who enjoys the craft of butchery, pastry and precise prep, and who takes real pride in their work behind the scenes.You will need experience in butchery and pastry as well as your own mode of transport due to the location of the hotel.Youll be wondering whats in it for you as a Sous Chef£35,000 - £40,000 DOE per annum8am
5pm with occasional evening shifts to cover holidays etcSet days off
Sunday and Monday off every weekJoining a skilled and supportive kitchen brigadeCooking with some of the best ingredients the New Forest and the south coast have to offerResponsibilities as a Sous ChefLeading the prep kitchen and assisting with some service when requiredSupporting across butchery, pastry, and core mise en placeEnsuring smooth daily operations and maintaining exacting standardsWorking closely with senior chefs to meet high-end service expectationsHelping train and guide junior chefs in a collaborative and respectful environmentThis role would suit a confident and mature Sous Chef with a strong foundation in prep, butchery, and pastry.
