SEN Teacher - Vauxhall - September Start - ASD Specialist Role in Primary SchoolA thriving ASD provision in a Primary School based in Vauxhall is seeking a committed and innovative SEN Teacher to join their specialist team from September 2025. This is a full-time position in a well-established ASD unit, with each class capped at 10 pupils and supported by 4 skilled LSAs.As an SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning and development of pupils with Autism. The school offers a nurturing and structured environment with a strong focus on communication, sensory development, and life skills.This SEN Teacher position requires someone confident in leading a team of support staff, differentiating for a range of complex needs, and delivering engaging lessons that build both academic and social independence.SEN Teacher - Responsibilities Include:Delivering a broad, engaging, and accessible curriculum to pupils with ASDWorking collaboratively with 4 LSAs to support individual learning goalsUsing strategies such as TEACCH, PECS, and sensory play to enhance accessPromoting positive behaviour and emotional regulationTracking progress and adapting EHCP-led targets accordinglyTo be successful in this SEN Teacher role, you''ll need:QTS or equivalent teaching qualificationExperience working within SEN, preferably ASD/complex needsA patient, positive, and resilient teaching styleKnowledge of EHCPs, behaviour strategies, and Autism interventionsIf you''re a passionate SEN
