Job Description:


  • Deliver tailored lessons that support students with a range ofandnbsp;learning difficulties,andnbsp;social, emotional and mental health (SEMH)andnbsp;needs, andandnbsp;neuro-diverse profiles
  • Implement and adaptandnbsp;EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)andnbsp;to ensure individual progress and engagement
  • Foster a nurturing and structured classroom environment that promotesandnbsp;positive behaviour for learning
  • Use a variety ofandnbsp;differentiated strategiesandnbsp;andandnbsp;multi-sensory approachesandnbsp;to meet diverse learning needs
  • Work closely withandnbsp;Teaching Assistants,andnbsp;SENCO, and external professionals to provide cohesive support
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support both academic and emotional development
  • Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;intervention programmes,andnbsp;pastoral support, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:


  • Have experience teaching or supporting students with SEN in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
  • Be a reflective and adaptable practitioner with strongandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;differentiationandnbsp;skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;safeguarding,andnbsp;inclusive practice, andandnbsp;student wellbeing
  • Possess excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Be enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;continuous professional development,andnbsp;team collaboration, andandnbsp;inclusive innovation
