Their work spans corporate reputation, brand marketing, and purpose-driven storytelling, with a strong emphasis on digital transformation and social-first strategies.The Role:We are seeking a Freelance Account Director to lead social and digital strategy and execution for a high-profile client.You’ll be responsible for driving integrated campaigns, managing client relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class work.This role is ideal for experienced freelancers or those seeking a temp-to-perm opportunity.Start Date: ASAPDuration: Initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension.IR35: Inside IR35, with hybrid working required.Day to Day:Lead strategic planning and execution of social and digital campaigns across multiple platforms.Provide senior counsel to clients and internal teams on digital communications and content strategy.Collaborate with creative, production, and analytics teams to deliver high-impact content and measure performance.Oversee paid media strategy and implementation, including social, display, and programmatic.Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables with precision and accountability.Monitor trends and platform updates to ensure strategies remain innovative and effective.About You:Proven experience in leading social and digital campaigns, ideally within B2B, corporate, or health tech sectors.Deep understanding of social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, etc.) and digital ecosystems (SEO, paid media, programmatic).Strong client management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.Proficiency in analytics tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social).Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple projects simultaneously.A collaborative mindset and passion for delivering meaningful, measurable work.Here are just a few for now, but there are many more!A warm and friendly team with a fantastic portfolio of global and UK clients.A truly global network, with opportunities to work on multi-market campaigns.Hybrid and flexible working embraced, with a vibrant office culture.Work-life balance is a priority, with support across the team.25 days of holiday plus a day off on your birthday (or your child’s), all days between Christmas and New Year, and a buy-back scheme.BUPA medical cover – including 24/7 virtual GP, funded eye tests, fertility, and menopause support.The Digital Recruitment Company is an Employment Business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.To apply for this role please contact:Mags RendleSeniority level
