As an Executive Director - Data Product Strategy Lead in Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB), you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. You leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs. This role is crucial for enabling the development of reusable data products across CIB’s various businesses, supporting AI and other advanced analytics initiatives. The role involves engaging with internal stakeholders, contributing to the strategic direction of data product development, enabling reuse and scaling of data products across the CIB and aligning with the firm\''s broader data and analytics goals.Responsibilities
Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets.Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth.Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives.Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives.Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation.Develops and executes a comprehensive strategy for the creation, deployment, and continuous improvement of reusable data products that support AI and advanced analytics.Collaborates with multiple stakeholders across various lines of business to build a consistent view of data product development, use-case alignment, and adoption across the Bank.Defines and deconstructs complex business problems to identify data product solutions, critically assesses existing products, and influences the product development roadmap.Establishes and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data products, providing synthesized analysis and strategic insights to senior management.Provides thought leadership by developing principles, training programs, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation to drive cultural change and promote data-driven decision-making.Stays informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure data products remain competitive and innovative, leading the design and development of data products that support AI and advanced analytics and align with business needs.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
Formal training or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications.Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.Demonstrated ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics).Diverse problem-solving experience in data strategy, product management, management consulting, internal strategy or a related field within financial services and fintech.Good knowledge and understanding of data, AI, and emerging technologies.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to apply quantitative approaches to problem-solving.Ability to quickly assimilate new topics and information with excellent attention to detail.Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with senior management.About Us
