Current projects include a £3.3M extension and renovation in Westminster, where you will be involved in the detailed design stage and the technical delivery.This is a full-time, permanent role for a Senior Architect with strong project-running skills and a passion for high-end design.Role and ResponsibilitiesLead and manage high-end residential projects, including luxury refurbishments, extensions, and new builds, from concept to completionAct as the main client contact, overseeing relationships and expectations at all project stagesWork on detailed design, technical detailing, and project delivery, ensuring that all projects meet the highest industry and client standardsMentor and manage junior architects, providing support and guidance throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progression and flawless executionEngage in both classical and contemporary design workOversee project budgets, internal staffing costs, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial parameters.Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 8 years post-Part 3 UK architectural experience, with a focus on high-end residential projectsProven track record of running complex refurbishments and new builds, particularly in London’s prime locationsProficiency in AutoCAD (essential); experience with SketchUp, Photoshop, and other design software is highly desirableStrong design and technical skills with experience in both classical and modern architecture, including listed buildings and conservation areasExcellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects and maintain client relationshipsThorough understanding of UK building regulations, construction detailing, and statutory requirementsExceptional communication skills, fluent in English (both written and verbal).What you get backAnnual performance-based bonusCompany pension contribution with salary sacrifice options20 days holiday, increasing by 2 days each year up to 30 days + bank holidaysFlexible working: option to work from home on FridaysCollaborative and friendly work environment in an open-plan officeStability and development opportunitiesSocial events including Christmas and summer parties.
