Participates in or leads part of efforts in association with solutions, roadmaps, and architectural recommendations.Facilitates and/or executes the governance process (e.g., blueprint and design reviews) for projects, depending on the size of the application or scope of the project.Implements the strategy for stability and performance of solutions at the applications and technology domains level (design, debugging, and performance analysis).Provides input into portfolio or prioritization processes and how escalation for remediation of stability and performance will be managed for scope; able to prioritize independently.Contributes to and influences adoption of new concepts, techniques, best practices, and technology assistance (guidelines and models for supported technologies).Collaborates with other architects, development groups, and OAI-Sys employees.May participate in enterprise engagements and initiatives like Centers of Excellence and owns deliverables associated with these efforts.May participate in development and production support of application utilities and owns deliverables associated with these efforts.May participate in vendor and product management strategies to establish required infrastructures and frameworks and owns deliverables associated with these efforts.Owns deliverables associated with product evaluations and proofs of concepts.Participates in the day-to-day execution of the architectural strategy.Performs other duties as assigned.What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Working knowledge of architecture technology directions; enterprise, application, and information architecture.Working knowledge of product and/or project management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).General knowledge of technical reference architectures in Java, .NET, SQL and SOA; experience engaging with business stakeholders and turning requirements into IT solutions.Thorough knowledge of experience in multiple technologies and architectures, including J2EE, Web Application Development, Service-Oriented Architecture, Application Frameworks (Spring, Struts, Hibernate, MVC), Middleware Technologies (Websphere, JBoss, Datapower), Relational Database Design (DB2/400, MS SQL Server), and more.Experience with API-first design approaches and event-driven architecture patterns, messaging systems, and asynchronous communication models for service integration.Experience with SaaS platforms and cloud-native solutions.Ability to influence people in a matrixed organization and maintain partnerships across the organization.What Is a Must Have?
