Yard Operative

Our client, based in Chelmsford is looking to add to their Yard Operative team, with a temp to perm role. Labouring or yard work experience would be preferred, but reliability and the ability to carry out regular, physical work is essential.

**Own vehicle required due to public transport limitations.**

Yard Operative Duties:

• Assist Production - Load material into machinery
• Keep yard area tidy and safe
• Assist with delivery of materials – Goods in & Out
• Adhere to strict health & safety regulations

Yard Operative Hours and Pay:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30 – 16:00
• £12.21 per hour - rising to £12.71 from April 2026

Requirements:

• Safety Boots
• High-Vis vest
• Own Transport
