We''re recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company operating across Central London. They''re looking for a reliable and experienced Van Driver who can also support operations in the yard when needed.

This role is ideal for a professional driver with a background in construction logistics, builders'' merchants, or site support - someone confident driving in London, handling deliveries, and working with materials and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a 3.5 tonne flatbed van to deliver materials, tools, and equipment to multiple sites across London
- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring everything is secure and handled correctly
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
- Support the yard team with loading, organising stock, and keeping the area tidy
- Help ensure that all health & safety procedures are followed on-site and in the yard
- Communicate clearly with site managers and office staff regarding delivery schedules

What You''ll Need:

- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) - Essential
- Previous experience driving vans in London or within the construction/builders merchant sector
- Confident with manual handling and lifting (this is a physical role)
- Solid understanding of construction site logistics and materials
- A reliable, punctual, and self-motivated attitude
- Good knowledge of safe loading practices and vehicle checks
