Quantity Surveyor – High-End Residential
Location: Fulham, London
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 DOE 

An established high-end residential contractor is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their office in Fulham. Specialising in bespoke projects for private clients, architects, and designers, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional quality builds and a personal service.

The Role

This is a newly created position where you’ll take ownership of procurement and commercial management. Until now, external estimators and senior management have shared this responsibility, so this hire is key to driving the business forward. You’ll be working across projects typically valued between £1m–£2m, giving you the chance to have a hands-on, influential role.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading procurement and negotiating packages

• Preparing and managing contracts

• Cost planning and budget control

• Subcontractor account management and valuations

• Supporting senior management with commercial decision-making

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience on smaller-scale projects, ideally £1m–£2m high-end residential

• Comfortable working without rigid systems and processes (not looking for big Tier 1 backgrounds)

• Strong procurement and negotiation skills

• Adaptable, flexible, and able to work closely with senior leadership

• Ambitious to progress into a senior commercial role within the business
