Senior Physiotherapist - Community Assessment and Treatment Service

In order to cover parental leave, we are looking for a dynamic individual to work within a service committed to improving the health and wellbeing of frail and/or older people. The Community Assessment and Treatment Services (CATS) provides rapid access to a multidisciplinary team comprising doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists for primarily frail and/or elderly patients, with a strong focus on providing high-quality care for people with frailty.We are seeking a senior physiotherapist to provide assessments and treatment plans for patients attending Thame and Marlow CATS. The role also involves supporting the development of the Marlow CATS Rehabilitation Service. This is a great opportunity to work alongside GPs with a special interest in elderly care and Falls Specialist physiotherapists, enabling clinical development in frailty and falls prevention. The position requires working 3 full days (22.5 hours) or more (up to 27 hours).Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide physiotherapy assessments within clinics in Thame and Marlow, as part of either Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments or Nursing and Therapy-led Multifactorial Falls Assessments. They will also provide indirect supervision for the rehabilitation support worker in Marlow CATS Rehab Service. The services operate from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that applicants can travel effectively and independently to and from the base, clients'' homes, and other venues around the geographical area.
