Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient GTM Senior Strategic Analytics and Data Science Manager to serve as an internal consultant for our Marketing organization. This is an individual contributor role requiring a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and consultative skills to drive data-driven insights that optimize marketing performance and demonstrate clear ROI across the customer lifecycle. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Analytics and Data Science and works closely with Marketing Leadership to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Analysis and InsightsServe as an internal consultant to Marketing teams, proactively identifying trends and opportunities for campaign optimization and efficiency improvementsAnalyze complex business problems beyond surface-level requests to understand and address underlying business needsDevelop and deliver strategic insights that drive pipeline growth, marketing efficiency, and revenue attributionCreate compelling data narratives that connect marketing activities to business outcomes and corporate strategic goalsIndependently identify areas requiring analysis and deliver actionable recommendationsAbility to tie together narratives for marketing across all GTM (Marketing, Sales and Customer Success)

Cross-Functional GTM AnalyticsMarketing Analytics:Analyze multi-channel campaign effectiveness and ROIConnect marketing activities to pipeline generation and revenue outcomes across customer lifecycle (Sales and Customer Success)Identify optimization opportunities in the marketing funnel

Sales Analytics:Analyze sales velocity metrics including time to close, average deal size, and win rates as it relates to marketing interactionUnderstand and optimize lead routing efficiency and BDR interaction pointsAnalyze sales stage progression impact from marketing activities

Customer Intelligence:Analyze customer behavior patterns to inform segmentation strategiesTrack customer journey analytics from first touch through conversionUnderstand impact of Customer Marketing activities on customer components of growth (Renewals, Upsell, Downsell, Churn)

Technical and Systems ExpertiseDemonstrate deep understanding of Marketing and GTM tech stack architecture and data relationshipsBuild and maintain complex marketing dashboards and automated reportingEnsure data accuracy through comprehensive validation processesPartner with Marketing Operations on data quality and system optimizationProvide business context and technical requirements for data integration projects

Stakeholder Management and CommunicationPartner with Marketing Leadership on strategic initiativesSupport Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Content, and Field Marketing teamsCollaborate with Marketing Operations and GTM Operations on process and system improvementsProvide regular insights to campaign managers and program ownersPresent complex findings in clear, actionable formats to both technical and non-technical audiences

Process OptimizationPartner with operations teams to optimize data intake, validation, and analysis processesIdentify and resolve data quality issues across systemsEstablish and maintain reporting systems as reliable Sources of TruthDocument system processes and data relationships for team knowledge sharing

Required Qualifications

Experience

8+ years of experience in analytics roles, with significant exposure to Marketing, Sales and Customer Success analyticsBachelor''s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent practical experience will be consideredProven experience in high-growth, fast-paced SaaS environmentsDemonstrated ability to work across multiple business functions simultaneouslyTrack record of moving from tactical execution to strategic insight deliveryTechnical Skills

Advanced proficiency in SQL - ability to write complex queriesExpert-level Excel skills including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data modelingStrong experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred)Deep knowledge of marketing automation platformsProficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) reporting and data structureUnderstanding of ETL processes and data integration conceptsUnderstanding of web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)Marketing Domain Expertise

Deep understanding of B2B marketing metrics and funnel dynamicsExpertise in multi-touch attribution and marketing mix modelingKnowledge of account-based marketing analyticsUnderstanding of digital marketing channels and measurementExperience with marketing budget optimization and forecastingBusiness Skills

Deep understanding of SaaS business metrics and GTM processesAbility to connect technical data relationships to business outcomesStrong consultative mindset - ability to dig deeper beyond stated requestsExcellent storytelling and data visualization skillsSelf-starter mentality with ability to identify and pursue high-impact analyses independentlyCore Competencies
