Role Overview

• Deliver engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4, specialising in product design or resistant materials

• Plan and lead hands-on projects in modern workshops equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, and CAD software

• Support GCSE coursework and practical design portfolios

• Collaborate with the Art and STEM departments on cross-curricular projects

Candidate Essentials

• DT-related degree and teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS)

• A passion for applied learning and innovation in design

• Skilled in using tools and technology for safe, effective workshop delivery

• Strong behaviour management and student engagement skills
