We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Full-Time Design and Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity for both qualified and unqualified teachers to play a key role in nurturing studentsandrsquo; creativity and technical abilities through engaging and hands-on learning experiences.
About the Role:
- Deliver Design and Technology lessons to secondary students across a range of year groups.
- Plan and teach dynamic, hands-on lessons that enhance both practical skills and theoretical knowledge.
- Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that nurtures creativity and independent thought.
- Track student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to support their development.
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification.
- For unqualified teachers: Demonstrate a solid background in Design and Technology with a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.
- Prior experience in teaching or supporting Design and Technology is beneficial, though not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and effective classroom management abilities.
- A creative, innovative approach to engaging students and delivering lessons.
