A fantastic opportunity has become available with a successful Fresh Produce specialist, in a key role as Procurement Manager. This position offers the opportunity to join a successful and driven procurement team, with a focus on designated fruit product categories, taking ownership to ensure company targets are met. Working as part of an energetic and personable team, the position of Procurement Manager will report to and work alongside the Head of Procurement and become a fundamental member of the buying team.Responsibilities

Procurement of Fresh Produce, across a variety of Fruit categoriesPlanning and management of stock, to ensure volumes are metLiaising with all parties to ensure product quality is achievedManaging successful and positive supplier relationshipsNegotiating prices, meeting financial KPI’sQualifications

Experience gained in a Buying / Procurement position within Fresh Produce, ideally fruitProfessional and confident, with the ability to communicate at all levelsAn understanding of the Fresh Produce Supply ChainNumerically minded and confident working with dataAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent knowledge of Microsoft systemsThis role requires a passionate, organised and pro-active individual, confident in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with the ability to meet deadlines and tight timescalesHours

Monday - FridayCompensation

Competitive Salary offered + Bonus, based on personal and company performanceLocation

Warwickshire - commutable from the West Midlands, Worcestershire, OxfordshireTravel

Overseas travel will be expected with this role, approx 7 weeks a year
