will report to and work alongside the Head of Procurement and become a fundamental member of the buying team.Responsibilities

Procurement of Fresh Produce, across a variety of Fruit categoriesPlanning and management of stock, to ensure volumes are metLiaising with all parties to ensure product quality is achievedManaging successful and positive Supplier relationshipsNegotiating prices, meeting financial KPI’sRequirements

Experience gained in a Buying / Procurement position within Fresh Produce, ideally fruitProfessional and confident, with the ability to communicate at all levelsAn understanding of the Fresh Produce Supply ChainNumerically minded and confident working with dataAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent knowledge of Microsoft systemsDetails

This role requires a passionate, organised and pro-active individual, confident in a fast-paced and demanding environment, with the ability to meet deadlines and tight timescales.Hours: Monday – FridaySalary: Competitive Salary offered + Bonus, based on personal and company performanceLocation: Warwickshire – commutable from the West Midlands, Worcestershire, OxfordshireOverseas travel will be expected with this role, approx 7 weeks a year
