Assistant Payroll Manager

Portfolio Payroll are pleased to be working with a large, multinational organisation in the Financial Services sector who are hiring into their small and supportive payroll team.As Assistant Payroll Manager, you will work closely to support the Payroll Manager in the day to day running of the payroll department, overseeing 3 monthly payrolls. Responsibilities include:Providing administrative support to the Payroll Manager, assisting with accurate and timely payroll processingAssist with monthly payrolls and checking input of variable dataProcess P45s, HMRC new starter checklists and statutory paymentsAssist with annual salary reviews and bonus paymentsAssist with tax year-end, P11D and PSA reportingLiaise with the outsourced payroll provider Experience required:Exemplary UK payroll knowledge gained within an inhouse environmentExperience within a financial or professional services setting is highly desirableIntermediate to advanced Excel skills (vlookups/pivot tables)Proficiency using the Oracle payroll system This role offers flexibility for hybrid working, discounted gym membership, private health, 25 days annual leave increasing with service, dental and travel insurance.
