Job DescriptionJoin a global leader as an
Interim Financial Controller
and drive financial excellence at the site level. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for all aspects of financial control and management, including corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. You will produce and analyze business forecasts, budgets, and quarterly performance reviews. As a key member of the leadership team, you will act as a strategic financial partner to site management, ensuring robust financial risk management.
You will oversee the preparation of accurate management and statutory accounts, manage and develop a high-performing finance team, and ensure compliance with internal controls and group guidelines. Your responsibilities include year-end closing, asset and liability management, cash flow optimization, and credit control. You will support site strategy, provide insightful financial analysis, and lead performance improvement initiatives.
This role also involves evaluating capital investments, coordinating audits, maintaining standard costing, and ensuring tax and regulatory compliance. You will promote financial awareness, coach finance personnel, and deliver reports and projects for senior management. QualificationsIdeal Experience
Hold a recognized professional finance qualification
Post-qualification experience in manufacturing or engineering environments
Experience managing financial impacts of business or commercial issues and identifying control weaknesses with recommended improvements
Proficiency in spreadsheets, MS Office, ERP systems, and familiarity with financial consolidation tools
Critical Competencies for Success
Understanding risk management and improving business practices to reduce risk while enhancing performance
Organizational skills to handle multiple challenging tasks and develop collaborative relationships
Coaching style to develop team members continually
