We''re currently seeking a Catering Assistant to join a vibrant and energetic team in the Basildon area. As a Catering Assistant, you''ll be an essential part of the team, splitting your time between the kitchen and front-of-house duties. This varied role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and isn''t afraid to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-of-House: You''ll be the face of the business, warmly greeting customers, taking food and drink orders, and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages.
• Kitchen Support: Your duties will include assisting the chef with basic food preparation, ensuring the kitchen and service areas are kept clean and tidy, and washing dishes.
• Customer Service: Providing a friendly and efficient service is key. You''ll ensure every customer has a positive experience.
• General Duties: You''ll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, restocking supplies, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.

• Experience: Previous experience working in a kitchen or catering environment is highly desirable.
• Attitude: A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility: The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Passion: A genuine interest in food and a commitment to providing excellent service.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate - Platinum Employment can support you with this.
• Due to the clients location, you must drive and have access to a car
