Registered Manager
to lead our newest residential setting.The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets Ofsted standards and promotes the wellbeing, safety and development of the children and young people. You will lead and inspire a team of care professionals, fostering a culture of warmth, consistency and professionalism.Key Responsibilities
Register as the Manager with Ofsted and maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulationsProvide strong, effective leadership to the care teamEnsure that children receive the highest standard of care and support tailored to their individual needsDevelop and oversee care plans, risk assessments and behaviour management strategiesManage staff recruitment, development, training, and performanceMonitor and improve the quality of care through audits, reviews and feedbackLiaise effectively with external agencies, including social workers, schools and healthcare providersMaintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with safeguarding and data protection standardsPromote a positive and nurturing environment that helps children feel safe, valued and empoweredRequirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)At least 2 years experience in a senior role within a childrens residential settingStrong understanding of Ofsted standards, safeguarding procedures and relevant legislationExcellent leadership, communication and organisational skillsPassionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young peopleAbility to build trusting relationships with staff, children, families and professionalsWhat We Offer
