Test Technician

Salary: -30,000 - -35,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Test Technician to join our team in Woking (GU21). This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in electronics testing, diagnostics, and fault-finding within a manufacturing environment.

To follow predefined test procedures and processes to ensure high-quality electronic products are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time. The role requires specialist skills developed through training and practical experience.

• Perform and lead electronic test activities following established procedures

• Inspect and test electronic assemblies during manufacturing

• Use bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and function generators

• Fault find electronic circuits and components down to board level

• Maintain accurate documentation for full traceability

• Support and mentor junior technicians as required

• Identify and propose process improvements

• Work independently within defined standards

• Overtime may be required to meet production targets

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

• ONC/HNC or equivalent in an electronics discipline (essential)

• Understanding of IPC standards and electronics manufacturing safety regulations

• Previous experience in a high-tech manufacturing or test environment

• Familiarity with test processes and good general PC skills

• Strong attention to detail and good time management
