Salaried GP

We are looking for a colleague to join our Practice Team, making a difference to patients in Letchworth.You will be registered with GMC and engaged in regular clinical work.Be an experienced doctor with GP accreditationHold MRCGP examination or equivalent experienceHave a sound knowledge of the principles and values that support good medical practiceHave good organisational skillsHave excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to working as part of a teamHave a clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused serviceHave a record of continuous professional developmentMain duties of the job
You will provide clinical care to patients, this will include consultation sessions, telephone triage, econsults, correspondence, results, medication reviews and prescription signing and other clinical administration, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on-call (excluding out of hours).Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards as set out by the GMC and to put individual patient care as your priority.Work with the Directors and Practice Manager to support the development, delivery and review of the agreed surgery action plan may include list growth, patient satisfaction levels, QOF, enhanced services, safeguarding of patients, KPI targets, CQC, PNC DES activities, resources and profile and cost management.Provide colleague clinical support to your peer GPs, nurses, HCAs, trainees and other healthcare colleagues.Work closely with the Practice primary health care team in delivering clinical care.Actively participate in regular clinical Practice meetings.Ensure on going CPD to keep abreast of new clinical developments.Document and report significant events and matters relating to clinical governance to the Lead General Practitioner and Practice Manager.About us
