Our client is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare through service excellence, education, and leadership. They are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their Operating Room Unit (OR) team in a supportive yet fast-paced environment. 

As Registered Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:

- Acting as a scrub nurse or circulating nurse during a variety of operative procedures such as Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, Trauma emergencies, Orthopaedic, Paediatric, ENT, Maternity, Gynaecological, Ophthalmology, Urology, Vascular and Plastics.
- Acting as an Anaesthetic Nurse by assisting the anaesthetist during induction and throughout the aesthetic period.
- Monitoring and assessing patients’ clinical condition and taking appropriate action to ensure safety of the surgical patient.
- Functioning as a Charge Nurse and a team leader when required. Utilising clinical, hospitals and community resources. Participating in unit Quality Improvement activities and when required, approving research projects.
- Functioning as a preceptor/monitor and role model for new junior staff, as well as peers.
- Taking active responsibility for professional development by participating in continuing education programmes, keeping current with professional literature.

We’re looking for a Registered Nurse with:

- Experience in the role with a bachelor’s degree or Diploma from an accredited institution
- Continuous employment/experience in a current Operating Room setting.
- Current certifications: CPR, I.V, ACLS preferred.
- Experience in Physical assessment essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge and clinical competencies.
