Credit Controller

We are seeking a diligent and organised Credit Controller to join our Accounting and Finance Department in the public sector. The successful candidate will manage debt recovery, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate records.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established organisation in the public sector, offering services to a broad range of organisations.DescriptionMaintain accurate records of all chasing activityRegularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessaryIdentify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtednessHandle disputed invoices and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed termsProvide accurate advice on billing queriesRespond promptly and completely to both client and internal queriesPropose write off of irrecoverable receivablesUndertake account reconciliations as requiredProfileA successful Credit Controller should have:Previous experience in a similar role.Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and internal teamsAn understanding of the public sector and its unique financial requirementsExceptional organisational skills and attention to detailJob OfferThis role is a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller to expand their skills in a large public sector organisation.
