DCMS Commercial delivers the classic portfolio of commercial services such as procurement, contract management and supplier engagement, and a niche set of services including negotiating with foreign investors, mergers and acquisitions, policy development and income generation. We act as strategic delivery partners to the department to secure good value for the taxpayer, drive growth and keep DCMS productive and agile. We are flexible and lean to support priorities while maintaining a high-quality service to our customers. Two Senior Commercial Managers are being recruited to join our team. You’ll be based in either our Manchester or London hub.
Responsibilities
You’ll lead a variety of commercial workstreams and projects, applying service delivery, project management, engagement and data skills.
You’ll lead the procurement of lower value goods and services and support complex commercial activity.
You’ll engage with stakeholders and customers, analyse data and share insight reports with senior leaders, advising the department on securing good value and on procurement regulation compliance.
You’ll be inquisitive and keen to learn new skills; we provide learning and development to support your career in commercial and in the Civil Service.
You may line manage a small team.
Commercial is central to the delivery of DCMS objectives; you’ll be agile and willing to work flexibly to meet changing priorities with enthusiasm.
