This role involves delivering targeted GCSE Foundation-level support to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide tailored Maths and English tuition to Year 11 pupilsSupport students working towards GCSE Foundation levelAdapt teaching strategies to meet individual SEMH needsBuild positive relationships to encourage engagement and confidenceWork collaboratively with school staff and pastoral teamsMonitor pupil progress and provide feedback where requiredMaintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environmentRequirementsExperience supporting secondary-aged pupils, ideally Year 11Strong understanding of GCSE Foundation Maths and English curriculumExperience working with SEMH students or other additional needs is highly desirablePatient, resilient and adaptable approachEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Right to work in the UKRelevant qualifications or tutoring/teaching experience preferred
