Senior Manager - Corporate Tax Advisory and ComplianceWe are recruiting for a Senior Manager to be based in the CTAC team in CSQ, with the wider London region team across five offices. The successful candidate will build strong client relationships, develop junior staff, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities.
Overview: This exciting role is within our CTAC team based in our CSQ office. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across UK listed, PE-backed, inbound and family-owned groups, and take on a variety of advisory projects, including tax structuring, domestic tax advice and international advice. Previous experience of working with multinationals is helpful, but strong technical skills, drive and curiosity are essential.
Role And Responsibilities
Provide International and Complex UK Tax Advisory services to support clients in achieving their commercial objectives, and manage the compliance process.
Deliver technically excellent advice including tax structuring, refinancing, legal structure optimisation, pre/post-transaction reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, compliance work, and technical support to the wider corporate tax team.
Liaise with specialists in other departments and overseas offices to oversee input into tax advisory projects.
Coach and develop more junior team members.
Manage aspects of the team’s operations and performance, including resourcing.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships and understand client businesses to identify opportunities for tax and other services.
Manage proposals for new work, including tender documents, client pitches and identifying solutions for client issues.
Pursue business development opportunities in collaboration with Directors and Partners.
Act as a role model for KPMG’s values.
Qualifications, Experience And Skills
ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with strong corporate tax and accounting knowledge.
Ability to develop, coach and lead staff, and manage stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Well-developed analytical skills with a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice.
Proactive in identifying and progressing business opportunities for the long-term benefit of both KPMG and the client.
Ability to multi-task and manage a wide range of projects and relationships.
High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
Dedication to continuously developing technical knowledge.
Inquisitive with attention to detail.
