Direct and manage the operational activities within the client contract region to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of contractual obligations and service provisions.Ensure quality standards and HandS requirements are met and all EMCOR Group (UK) policies are complied with.Assist the Account Director in developing business plans, strategies and budgets to deliver strategic goals and financial targets.Direct and manage the operational business streams to achieve objectives and maximise profits.Ensure management teams are suitable, qualified and experienced with appropriate reporting structures.Set objectives for managers and ensure resources, authority, skills and abilities are in place.Direct managers to motivate and develop staff, conduct appraisals and skills reviews, and implement training needs.Ensure supporting departments develop and implement management systems to monitor, report, review and control operations.Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with EMCOR UK policies in areas including Health, Safety, Quality, Environment, Financial Reporting, Commercial and legislative Tendering.Work with other functional heads to support management and development of the business.Promote the positive image of EMCOR UK and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and external parties.Develop an organisational culture aligned to Company Core Values and budget targets, promoting a positive employee relations climate.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and a strong customer care culture across all levels.Provide the Account Director with a monthly executive overview of each business stream and significant issues affecting performance.Person Specification / Qualifications

Proven senior-level operating experience with full profit and loss responsibility in a Facilities Management organisation.Understanding of customer drivers to outsource and exposure to soft and hard FM service markets.Ability to lead, direct and develop a strong team with presence and gravitas.Experience directing multi-disciplined teams across UK geographies and driving commercial outcomes.Strong commercial awareness and track record on difficult contracts and accounts.Ability to develop relationships with key customers for account development and long-term profitability.Proven experience managing suppliers and sub-contractors.Educated to degree level or equivalent; member of a relevant professional institute.Desirable: Membership of BIFM and/or IFMA; experience managing large-scale contracts (£15m+); TUPE experience; knowledge of quality management systems; MBA from a leading Business School.Personal competencies: natural leader, customer empathy, determination, resilience, drive for win-win solutions, self-starter with constructive challenge, energetic and enthusiastic.Benefits
