Specialist Support Worker
Role: Outreach WorkerLocation: East Midlands (Leicester, Derby, Nottingham)Rate: £14 £18 per hour (depending on pay status)Duration: Temporary Minimum 2 MonthsHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PMWe are currently recruiting for a dedicated Outreach Worker to join the Anti-Trafficking and Modern Slavery Unit, supporting adult survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking across the East Midlands. If you''re passionate about supporting vulnerable individuals and making a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you.You will manage a caseload of clients, providing practical and emotional support through tailored support planning. Your responsibilities will include conducting needs and risk assessments, assisting with housing and benefit issues, supporting with immigration-related matters, and working closely with external agencies to ensure a holistic and trauma-informed approach.Requirements:Experience supporting vulnerable adults, young people, or children in accommodation or community-based servicesPreferred background in abuse, trafficking, homelessness, mental health, complex needs, offending behaviour or refugee/asylum supportEnhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months or registered on the Update ServiceFull driving licence and access to a vehicle highly desirable, as community travel is requiredSupporting Futures acts as both an agency and employer.
