The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with experience in group reporting, consolidations, statutory accounts, and management reporting, ideally within a multi-entity or international business.Our ClientMackie Myers have partnered with a fast-growing, dynamic organisation in Oxford to appoint a Group Financial Accountant into their expanding Group Finance team.The Role The Group Accountant will take ownership of the group consolidation process, statutory reporting, and financial oversight across multiple entities within the group. This role is central to delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial information, while partnering with subsidiary finance teams and senior stakeholders to enhance reporting quality and insight. You will contribute to strengthening controls, improving systems integration, and supporting technical accounting matters across the group. This position provides strong exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence process improvements within a developing finance function.Main DutiesLead monthly and annual group consolidations, including sub-consolidations and consolidation journalsManage intercompany reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling itemsPrepare consolidated and entity-level financial statements in line with IFRS / UK GAAPProduce board reporting packs inc
