The Role As Group Accountant, you will play a key role in statutory reporting, IFRS technical accounting, tax, and treasury activities across the Group. You will act as the technical accounting expert, working closely with senior finance leadership and the management accounting team, taking ownership of key processes and ensuring accuracy and compliance. Financial Accounting You will lead the annual and half-year reporting processes, prepare consolidated IFRS statutory accounts and disclosures, and act as the main point of contact for external auditors. You will prepare technical accounting papers for the Audit Committee, maintain Group accounting policies and the Finance Manual, support the internal control framework, prepare UK statutory accounts, and oversee share-based payment accounting including budgeting and forecasting.
