Assessment Officer Income and Debt

Description As part of the rent collection service for tenants, the officer will be responsible for delivering effective, proactive, customer-focused collection services. Working in line with national and corporate policies, procedures and statutory legislation, the post holder must understand and be responsive to customers needs, always presenting a positive and professional image to the customer whilst ensuring effective engagement with vulnerable/challenging customers. Responsibility Responsibilities will include working effectively as part of a team and contacting tenants in rent arrears to assist them in setting up payment arrangements and income maximisation. This may require cross-team work with relevant partners. Qualification Essential GCSE Grade (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics. Business administration/professional collection/assessment qualification Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), social media and CRM. Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements - Criteria to be Evaluated at the Shortlisting Stage. Successful candidates will be: Experience in collection/assessment-related roles. Experience/successful track record of providing collection/financial assessment services. Adaptable and keen to be part of a pooled resource across the assessment hub.
