The practice prides itself on its inclusive culture, where staff are genuinely valued, and success is shared.Key Responsibilities:Bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industriesPreparing annual financial statements and supporting working papersVAT return preparation and compliancePayroll processing for clients in line with current tax regulationsPerforming month-end tasks including bank reconciliations, journal entries (stock, depreciation, accruals, etc.), and balance sheet reviewsCreating and maintaining budgets in Xero for client forecastingLiaising directly with clients to ensure accurate financial recordsKey Requirements:Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essentialStrong bookkeeping and accounts preparation backgroundProficient in Xero (certification preferred, but not essential)Excellent attention to detail and organisationConfident communicator, comfortable working direct
