We are recruiting for a Part Time Legal Cashier/Bookkeeper for a law firm based in North HertfordshirePart time hours 4 hours a day 5 days a week, a total of 20 hours a week - times worked are flexibleOffice based position.The successful candidate will have experience of working in a law firm and be familiar Xero accounting software. Key Responsibilities:Day to day processing of client and office accounts in-line with Solicitors Accounts Rules regulations.Administration of online banking system.General bookkeeping - including bank reconciliations.Managing client bank accounts and processing payments on their behalf.Preparing and submitting VAT returns.Conducting bookkeeping tasks ensuring accuracy and compliance.Supporting the year-end accounts process.Using Xero accounting software, LEAP and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Liaising with clients and responding to any queries. Person Specification:Experience of working in a law firmExperience of Xero accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and have good organisational skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work as part of a small team and independently.
