Project Accountant

The Position
The Project Accountant is a full-time hybrid role based in London, responsible for supporting the financial health and reporting of projects across the studio. The role involves collaborating with Project Managers and office leadership to monitor financial performance, review budgets and staffing plans, and provide financial training where needed. Responsibilities include client invoicing, time and expense reporting, collections, accounts receivable and payable, journal entries, and preparing monthly financial and operational reports. The Project Accountant will also conduct ad-hoc analysis to support executive decision-making, assist with annual operations planning, and ensure coordination with other offices on multi-studio projects. Some travel to Paris will be required around month-end.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive and hands-on approach, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management are essential. Fluency in French is required, and experience working with international offices is advantageous. Technical proficiency is expected in Deltek and advanced Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The Studio
The role is within the London office of a globally recognised architecture and design studio, known for its collaborative approach and innovative projects delivered across international markets. The studio values communication between its network of offices and provides opportunities to work on projects that span multiple regions.
