Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Referral and Assessment Team for Southwark Council. Duties and Responsibilities: Managing a team of Social Workers within a busy Referral and Assessment service, ensuring effective service delivery. Overseeing incoming referrals, ensuring appropriate screening, decision-making, and timely allocation of work. Ensuring all statutory assessments are completed to a high standard and within required timescales. Providing supervision, guidance, and support to staff, driving high performance and continuous improvement. Managing complex and high-risk cases, ensuring robust safeguarding practice and risk management. Working in partnership with multi-agency professionals to deliver coordinated services for children and families. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Monitoring team performance and contributing to service development and improvement.
