This large, well established and well-known optician are now looking for an Optical Assistant to join their team in the Camberley area. You will be joining a large team of 40+, in a professional yet clinical environment. This opportunity will be working full time, either 8:15am to 5:00pm or 9:30am to 6pm including one weekend day. YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITHIN OPTICS. IF NOT, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REJECTED. Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling, adjustments, collections and give patients advice on best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice. Requirements of the Optical Assistant As an Optical Assistant within this practice you will work on the shopfloor in the dispensing team.
