Deputy Head Housekeeper

to join the team at a renowned, boutique hotel in Central London.

Working closely with the Head Housekeeper, you will play a pivotal role in leading the housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience are consistently achieved.

Key ResponsibilitiesAs Deputy Head Housekeeper, you will:Take ownership of the housekeeping department during shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Lead, motivate, and train the housekeeping team, maintaining consistent service and cleaning standards across guest bedrooms, public areas, and back of house.

Oversee room readiness in line with check-in times, with particular attention to early arrivals and VIP guests.

Support with scheduling rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels

Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and efficiency.

Act as an ambassador for the hotel, delivering and inspiring excellence in guest service.

What Were Looking ForPrevious experience in a supervisory or assistant/deputy head housekeeper role within a luxury hotel or similar high-end environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.

A professional and approachable manner with strong communication skills.

Good knowledge of health and safety, COSHH, and housekeeping best practices.

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
