As we are entering an exciting phase of growth, we are looking for a Deputy Head of Research and Analysis to support our team.About The Role

We’re seeking a highly organised Deputy Head of Research and Analysis to ensure the smooth daily running of our editorial workflow. This role is ideal for a detail-orientated editor, journalist, or research analyst with a proven interest in geopolitics, who excels at coordinating production schedules, maintaining editorial standards, and ensuring outputs are delivered on time.Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily flow of editorial work, ensuring research products move smoothly from draft to final deliveryCoordinate workloads across the research team to maintain consistent output and meet deadlinesTrack progress on deliverables, flagging and resolving bottlenecks promptlyWork to style guides, templates, and formatting standards to ensure uniformity across outputsPerform final checks on research products to ensure factual accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial standardsSupport researchers with targeted feedback to strengthen clarity and presentationEnsure all outputs meet client-ready presentation standards before deliveryStep in to provide day-to-day team direction in the absence of the Head of Research and AnalysisFacilitate clear communication between team members, ensuring priorities are understood and workloads balancedHelp maintain a collaborative and supportive working environmentKeep abreast of current geopolitical and security developments to ensure outputs remain timely and relevantSupport the integration of data-driven methods into day-to-day production where applicableRequired Qualifications

Strong editorial or production management experience in the context of journalism, research, or intelligence analysisExcellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to keep multiple workflows running smoothlyAttention to detail, with a proven ability to uphold quality and consistency in written outputsAbility to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlinesExperience supporting or deputising for a team leader in a fast-paced and rapid-growth environmentApplication Process
