This is more than a clinical role, it''s an opportunity to shape new models of rural primary care and make a real impact on local communities.The successful post-holder will work as a salaried GP providing primary care for approximately 3,600 patients. Presteigne is part of the Mid-Powys Primary Care Cluster, which has a combined list size of around 31,000 patients. Job responsibilitiesDeliver high-quality clinical care via consultations, triage, and home visits.Manage long-term conditions and supervise clinical staff.Prescribe in line with local and national guidance.Contribute to audits, governance, and quality improvement.Mentor and lead within a multidisciplinary team. Essential CriteriaFull GMC Registration with License to Practice.Relevant higher degree ie: MRCGP or equivalent.On the GMC GP Register and Welsh Medical Performers List.Experience in NHS General Practice and Primary Care.Knowledge of UK hospital systems (or equivalent).Excellent communication, IT, and team-working skills.Ability to work flexibly and commit to on-call duties.
