This is more than a clinical role, it s an opportunity to shape new models of rural primary care and make a real impact on local communities. The successful post-holder will work as a salaried GP providing primary care for approximately 3,600 patients. Presteigne is part of the Mid-Powys Primary Care Cluster, which has a combined list size of around 31,000 patients. Job responsibilities Deliver high-quality clinical care via consultations, triage, and home visits. Manage long-term conditions and supervise clinical staff. Prescribe in line with local and national guidance. Contribute to audits, governance, and quality improvement. Mentor and lead within a multidisciplinary team. Essential Criteria Full GMC Registration with License to Practice. Relevant higher degree ie: MRCGP or equivalent. On the GMC GP Register and Welsh Medical Performers List. Experience in NHS General Practice and Primary Care. Knowledge of UK hospital systems (or equivalent). Excellent communication, IT, and team-working skills.
