The Senior Surveyor will undertake valuations and reporting with key responsibility for valuation report writing. On more complex assignments, they will work with oversight and support from senior colleagues. They will collaborate with other members of the team in London and Hyderabad to ensure high quality valuations are delivered to clients and drive operational efficiency. They will play a key role in the supervision and quality assurance of work completed by the Hyderabad team.As property value experts, we deliver valuations with unmatched accuracy and speed. It offers an opportunity to contribute from the ground up as the division evolves and to shape how the team operates.Key Responsibilities
Conduct valuation and advisory work, alongside senior team members, for loan security purposes.Conduct physical property inspections and assist senior valuers with more complex inspections.Collaborate with the Hyderabad and London Valuation teams on the valuation process and undertake quality control of their work.Manage opportunity records through to execution.Conduct technical aspects of property due diligence and review changes to valuation data (Regular only).Select appropriate comparables, perform analysis, and draw conclusions.Perform valuation modelling (including DCF modelling) and analysis; provide support for more complex valuations.Maintain close liaison with clients to ensure high-quality advice is delivered.Prepare valuation reports.Support revenue recognition and complete necessary paperwork.Assist with business development, RFPs and pitch activities.Complete setup in internal systems as required (e.g., TOPS2).Ensure QRM compliance and share market intelligence with the team.Support training and mentoring of junior members to develop management skills.Flexibly work across sectors and services within the Division and support other Divisions as required.Person Specification / Requirements
Bachelor''s degree or higher in Real Estate, Surveying, or a related field.MRICS qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of 18 months post-qualified experience.Knowledge of property valuation methodologies and techniques.Proficiency in valuation software and tools such as Argus Enterprise and Development and Excel.Proficiency in reporting and data analytics tools to drive operational efficiency and reduce data transposition errors.Good understanding of property market trends and factors influencing property values.Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in property valuation.Willingness to learn and develop professional skills.Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and support senior valuers, while also able to operate autonomously.Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.Ability to prioritise tasks, delegate where appropriate and meet deadlines.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Valid UK driving licence – if applicable.Seniority / Employment Details
