Role Purpose

The Surveyor role will undertake valuations and reporting with a key responsibility for valuation report writing.This role will work primarily within the Metropolitan Valuation Team, a new division focusing on small to mid-sized loan security valuations of both commercial and residential assets. Conduct valuation and advisory work, alongside senior members of the team, for loan security purposes.Conduct physical property inspections and assist senior valuers in other, more complex inspections.Collaborate with members of the London and Hyderabad Valuation team on the valuation processManage opportunity records up to executionIdentify and incorporate relevant data and technical reports into property due diligence.Select appropriate comparables, performing analysis, and drawing conclusions.Perform valuation modelling calculations and analysis and support for senior valuers on more complex valuations. Set up properties, units and tenants when required.Preparation of reports.Complete ‘activate’ set up in TOPS2.Close liaison with clients ensuring high quality advice is consistently delivered.Support senior members of the team with business development, RFPs and pitch activities.QRM compliance.Gather and share relevant market intelligence and support senior members of the team with other value-add tasks.Work flexibly across sectors and services within the Division and support other Divisions as and when required.Person Specification/Requirements

Bachelor\''s degree or higher in Real Estate, Surveying, or a related field.MRICS qualified or equivalentKnowledge of property valuation methodologies and techniquesProficiency in using valuation software and tools, such as Argus Enterprise and Developer and ExcelBasic understanding of property market trends and factors influencing property valuesBasic knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in property valuationWillingness to learn and develop professional skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team and support senior valuers, but is also able to operate autonomously in an efficient and productive mannerStrong written and verbal communication skills, enabling the development of good relationships with both clients and colleaguesGood analytical skills with high attention to detailEnjoys working under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environmentAbility to prioritise and coordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are metValid UK driving licence.Why CBRE
