One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Repairs Operations Manager on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week. Overview: Responsible for the day-to-day running of the repairs service comprising a variety of trades ensuring high levels of quality, productivity and high customer satisfaction Lead a planned works team tasked with completing works packages and projects Lead a voids team tasked with completing repairs and refurbishments quickly minimising void turnaround times Utilising the internal pool of labour to achieve operational efficiency minimising the use of contractors in preference of self-delivery Duties: Perform a key leadership role to the repairs service, the voids team and planned works team supporting and motivating staff to achieve high levels of performance.
